Atari & The Bunny Butt Cake

Wow.

Ninety nine entries in on the year, and I would expect only about fifty of them were actually born from some idea I actually wanted to write about.

The other forty eight (and counting) are resultant of me sitting down at the keyboard and typing up something just for the sake of typing something up.

As monumental as the thought is that I’ve published something just about everyday for the last one hundred days is, I question whether I can keep it up without doing the same thing I’m doing now.

It makes me feel like a screen writer sometimes.

No offense against the screen writers or anything.  All things being equal, I’ve got to think I would have pursued such a career way back when if I had it all to do over again.

Even for screen writers, there’s nothing new under the sun though.

It should probably be said here and now that on the cusp of blog 100 happening tomorrow, I don’t really have anything planned.  Of course, that’s based on the fact the fertile resources of the deepest confines within my skull will continue to resist on coughing up any good content for me to throw out there.

In other news, I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m just not that much into the video games.

That assessment primarily applies to the game systems we hook up to a TV or play online.   It’s pretty weird.  I can sit there and watch various commercials for the newest games out there.  Typically, the games which are based on simulated war or various super heroes tend to get my attention.  That’s about as far as it goes though.  Once I rent the game and throw it in the game system, my attention deficit kicks in and reminds me that the time I’m wasting trying to master the ability to kill the bad guy with a strategic combination of button pushes could be better spent doing something else, like writing blogs.

I know.  You care.

So do I.

Oh, and while I’m wandering around in the land of the blue spotted, yellow tailed non sequitur, Wifey made a cake resembling a bunny butt sticking out of a hole in the ground.  It’s almost complete with a cotton tail, however was a little short on the rabbit anus.  That’s primarily because Wifey didn’t include one.  I think that may be because she didn’t have the right tip to simulate a rabbit anus.  Junior offered to make one with his index finger, but was fiercely admonished that if he chose that path, he would pull back a bloody nub.
