Speed Blogging Part Deux

Read Time:1 Minute, 18 Second

I sit here on the morning of day 1 of my weekend event at the auxiliary office.  I’m showered and almost dressed for what promises to be a long day in cubeville (Auto correct tried to fix that one to “cube ills”).

Thanks to some sort of storm last night, my neighborhood is out of power right now.  I know this because of the beeping battery backup on my Uverse.  The nervous clingy dog is indicator number deux.

All of my activity has been in the dark so far this morning.  The contacts will have to wait until later before being affixed to my far sighted, prone to corneal edema eyeballs.

As far as my wardrobe, it’s anyone’s game right now because of the dark closet.  For all I know, I’ll end up wearing a kilt and flippers to work this morning.  I just hope that there’s no sudden updrafts.

Its not like I would go commando in one of those things, mind you.  Reason being, of course, is that I don’t have a kilt.

That pretty much negates the possibility of me wearing such  attire to work on accident as a result of battling a dark closet.

Understand, my dear reader, that this was composed at about 5:30 am this morning where lucidity (an important component of my writing) is completely off the table.  That’s a result of speed blogging and the requirement to get lazy, which borders on puttin’ up ugly.

I’m just going to put my Marvin the Martian shirt on and go to work.
