Did I mention Artificial Intelligence?
Of course I did.
It seems to be the latest fad, even here in the middle bedroom where this site’s Blogger Laureate dispatches periodic swaths of verbal brilliance to a global network of interconnected computers and servers which enables the exchange of information and pictures of nekid ladies.
For the record, I used A.I. to tighten up that description of the internet. The previous description was a little clumsy.
If you’ve been keeping up with recent posts, you’ll see that I’ve been using various A.I. engines to generate some of the imagery that’s adorned this site. This post will be no different.
Today is April 26th, and I’m not really here to discuss A.I. as much as I am to talk about what I’ve done with A.I.
It was on this day two years ago that we said goodbye to Faith the TharpSter TreadMill.
Earlier this week, we marked 7 years since the day we said goodbye to Hope the TharpSter Pit Bull.
Just last month we had to say goodbye to Charlie, aka Mag-B the Slab.
Needless to say, we have some dog shaped holes in our lives right now and the memories of those three will make the months of March and April hard ones for years to come.

Irregardlessly, this is the day we’re remembering Faith.

Last Christmas, my daughter commissioned a painting of Charlie as a gift to me. She (Charlie) is depicted in that painting as sitting at a card table with an adult beverage in one paw and a stack of poker chips out in front of her.
At the time, I had the bright idea to commission a similar picture featuring just about every dog I’ve ever had into a no-limit Texas Hold ’em showdown.
After all, I once wrote a story about the picture of dogs playing poker, and it would be really cool to incorporate my own dogs into it.
I’m still looking for the right pictures of each of those dogs to get into that brilliant display which would enrich society in profound and multifaceted ways by serving as a universal language that would transcend barriers of culture, language, and time to evoke emotion, provoke thought, and inspire connection.
Okay, generating pictures isn’t the only thing I’ve used A.I. for. I also have it creating floral descriptions of art.
Back to the high stakes poker game, I may have found the right picture of Faith. Instead of commissioning a real artist for the eventual masterpiece, I used A.I. instead.
For those of you who may not have known Faith, she’s the little black one in the middle with the paws which look eerily human.

I sure do miss that dog.
