The Shops at La Cantera presents itself as well on it’s way to upscale shopping offered to San Antonio residents and tourists. It’s strategically placed on the northwest side of town just next door to Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
;
That means if you’ve parked in the right place, you can hear people screaming on the roller coasters.
;
The Shops at La Cantera sports all types of cool stores. There’s a bunch of blue shirted geniuses at the Apple store, and various shoo shoo poo poo department stores which display bold mannequins wearing ugly clothes. There are assorted gadget shops which sell all of the cool electronics which remind us daily that we’re 12 years into a new century, but just a matter of months away from the Mayan end of the world.
;
Don’t forget the restaurants either. You can get pricey food in a variety of pallets and ethnic origins at the Shops at La Cantera. The property used to sport a separate building loaded up with nothing but food court oriented restaurants and public restrooms. Since the last time I was there, the food court building has been closed and emptied out. This made it a bit of a challenge at the point where I found myself wandering around and needing to use the restroom.
;
Never fear though. There were plenty of shops scattered around in which I could wander into, feign interest in a given product in the spirit of turning the cogs of glorious capitalism, find a restroom, practice urinal etiquette, and continue on with my life.
;
I wandered into a book store.
;
At this point, ladies and gentlemen, I’m going to direct you to a snippet of an episode of Seinfeld. The following video has been edited down in order to focus on a specific subject matter in that particular episode.
;
Enjoy.

;
Wasn’t that wonderful?
;
Now you’ve got to be wondering why in the world would I post that particular video here on TharpSter.Org in conjunction with my visit to the Shops at La Cantera.
;
Is it possible I took a book featuring the French Impressionists into the restroom?
;
Of course not.
;
It would seem though, that the particular bookstore I was in today didn’t really cleave to the same rule that was featured in the Seinfeld episode.
;
What was my first clue?
;
I’m thinking it was the picture of the M&M
