The problem with doing your own plumbing is that you probably don’t appear on Angie’s List or with the Chamber of Commerce as a reputable member of the plumbing community or society as a whole (or hole, take your pick).
Last night I went to bed after spending several hours on a leak which appeared in the wall. It was on the water supply line for the hopper in the front bathroom.
When all was said and done, I had changed out an elbow joint which chose to supply some of the wet stuff to a proposed above ground pool in the garage.
Sadly enough, it sprung a leak this morning inconvenient enough to be early, yet just in time to happen before having to go to work in Cubeville.
It took me several hours of hurt feelings, sore bones, and emptied buckets, but I finally got it done.
Tomorrow, I’ll return to my normal life where I don’t have to worry about whether the thread tape was put on in the correct direction.
