Well ladies and gentlemen, the website here experienced some downtime in the middle of the month. By the time the crack technical support staff was able to get it back up and running, five days worth of precious Letters From The Past failed to appear where and when they were supposed to.
I had already written the 12/15 entry somewhere around 12/12 or 12/13, and was able to schedule it to publish when I wanted it to. For 12/14 and then 12/16 – 12/19, I had to resort to other tactics in order to insure I could still publish a daily blog for the entire year.
Thus, TharpSter42. My backup site.
For those of you who come directly to this site or rely on an RSS feed from TharpSter.Org to get your daily dose of verbal brilliance, you may not have gotten a chance to read the entries I posted for these days.

Where the site is concerned, it’s just about back up and running to the point I want it to be. There are still a couple of bugs, but nothing bad enough to keep me from publishing to it.
