As I sit here writing today’s post, I’m reminded of the events on that awful Tuesday morning which took place 11 years ago.  In memory of all of the souls we lost that day, I’m just going to post a quick thought on what I’ve seen recently.

In the days leading up to the anniversary of the attacks on our country, I’ve seen nothing but a possible commercial for a re-airing of something on National Geographic about this day.  If any of the media outlets are planning anything special, I’m not aware of it.  If there are to be rallies or gatherings to show remembrance, I don’t know where they are.  The poignancy of the day just doesn’t seem to weigh as heavy on people as it used to.

This just lends more credence to the age old adage that time heals all wounds.

I hope I’m wrong.
